Robert Lambert was born in the USA.
Robert has been painting since
nineteen ninety when he left the world of fine art
photography to devote himself full-time to his calling.
During the last 30 years, this followed
his desire to seek out new expressions by working in New York, Paris, and Amsterdam.
In two thousand and three after a prolonged period in Paris, creating 
Constructions, Encaustic, and Mixed media works evolved. 
a commemorative piece of art reflecting on the September 11 attack
on the World Trade Center was conceived in Paris and
exhibited at Rockefeller University in 2002 - 2003 when he was the artist in residence 
I found my creative home in New York City at the Chelsea Hotel, moved into a studio 
And continued working on oils and mixed-media paintings
"Nothing focuses  you more  than feeling isolated and being a stranger."

Rockefeller University acquired my portrait of Dr. Torsten Wiesel. 
He celebrated his 100th birthday on June 4th. 
A former president of Rockefella Univerity and a Nobel prize winner.
